Yo, I am rhythm guitar Corey Nielsen, yet more importantly your guide through the new Studio 54. The new “54” will now be located wherever my dancing shoes tread, so in all honesty this is a vast improvement. Throughout “54” the hills will be alive with the sound of Fuzz, a certain Somatic Fuzz. This Fuzz will be carried on the wind, which is propelled by the feared “Jive Dance Assault.” The “J.D.A” takes no prisoners and will annihilate every disbeliever in its prodigious path. To avoid this atrocious fate you must abandon all preconceptions you have on the art of dance, lose yourself in the rhythm, and don’t ever follow the leader. To truly become one who can harness the power of the “JDA” you must be original. Don’t choose to follow those around you who have truly harnessed their jive prowess or they will serve you. I can tell that by reading this you have the music in you and for that I thank you.

On a more serious note our Minnesota music scene is phenomenal. I am glad to now work my way into being apart of it. Music allows us to escape for a fraction of a moment from all that stresses us during a day and all that haunts us from the previous. To me this journey has turned out to be the most rewarding event I’ve felt in sometime. I think we all deserve our chance to relapse into feeling like a kid again and music is such a superb way for all of us to carry that out.
